Terms & Conditions
1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all workshop bookings and product purchases (such as preserves) made with Crafty Old Codger.
By making a booking or purchase, you agree to these terms.
2. Workshop Bookings & Payments
All workshop places must be booked in advance as spaces are limited.
Full pre-payment is required 14 days before the event to secure your place.
Workshop prices are set per person for standard adult sessions unless otherwise stated.
Optional enhancements (such as afternoon tea) will incur additional costs as agreed at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations & Refunds - Late Cancellations
Cancellations made close to the event date are non-refundable.
However, we will do our best to offer an alternative date if one is available.
Management Cancellations: Crafty Old Codger reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum requirement of 10 participants is not reached.
In this event, a full refund or an alternative date will be offered.
Private groups may request alternative or additional dates if they need to reschedule, subject strictly to our availability.
4. Workshop Format & Safety
Materials (such as dried flowers and foliage) are provided, but participants are required to bring their own snips or scissors.
Junior Workshops: These sessions are specifically for children aged 10 to 16.
Supervision is provided throughout the workshop.
Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking if your session includes food or refreshments.
5. Products (Jams & Chutneys)
All our preserves are homemade in small batches.
Due to the seasonal nature of our ingredients, availability will vary.
Please check the labels on all jars carefully for allergen information before consumption.
6. Liability
Crafty Old Codger will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during a workshop, except where such liability cannot be excluded by UK law.
Participants are responsible for safely using their own scissors and snips during the sessions.
